Privacy notice
How this website handles personal information.
These pages are a review edition for the website launch. The arrangements for email, retention and international transfers still need to be confirmed before public launch.
Who to contact
90s Tech Bros is owned and operated by J Rees, who is responsible for personal information handled for the website. Our contact address is 50 Christchurch Road, Ringwood, BH24 1DW. For questions about personal information, email legal@90stechbros.com.
Information you choose to send
If you email us, we receive your email address, any name or signature you include, and the contents of your message and attachments. We use this to respond to your enquiry, discuss a contribution or collaboration, and maintain relevant correspondence.
The intended lawful basis for ordinary enquiries is legitimate interests: responding to people who contact us and running the website. Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract, the applicable basis may instead be taking those steps at your request. We do not need sensitive personal information to handle an initial enquiry.
Information involved in delivering the site
Hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, request times and browser information to serve pages and protect the service. The website code does not include advertising pixels, visitor analytics, newsletter sign-ups, payment processing or a contact-form database.
This edition is prepared for hosting on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes technical request information to deliver and protect the website. This is separate from an email you send to 90s Tech Bros.
Who may handle information
Relevant service providers include website hosting, security and email providers. Correspondence may also need to be shared with professional advisers or authorities where necessary for a legal obligation or a genuine dispute. The email provider and access arrangements must be confirmed before this notice is finalised.
How long information is kept
The proposed approach is to keep enquiries only while needed to resolve the enquiry and any reasonably necessary follow-up. Records relating to an agreement, complaint or legal obligation may need a different retention period. The operator will confirm the applicable periods or criteria before public launch.
Processing outside the UK
The countries involved and any relevant transfer safeguards depend on the final hosting and email arrangements. Those details must be checked and completed before public launch; this review notice does not claim that all information stays in the UK.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct or erase your information, restrict its use, or receive portable data. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email us with your request. We may need enough information to verify your identity; please do not send identity documents unless requested.
You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page when the website’s data practices change. New forms, subscriptions or analytics will need to be reflected here before they are introduced.
